New vehicle BRDM-2 and everything you need to know about it.

We have all wondered while playing PUBG Mobile, what would happen if the armored UAZ (vehicle from flare gun) had a little more durability, had bullet proof tyers and could also run on water. Well now we don't have to worry about that anymore, because the Armoured UAZ is being replaced by another amazing ride that can do all the aforementioned tasks.

New PUBG Mobile vehicle

In the latest update of PUBG Mobile ver. 0.15.0, all the mobile gaming community was introduced to a new vehicle i.e. BRDM2. This new vehicle is better than its predecessor in almost every aspect. BRDM-2 can be called upon by firing the Flare gun when you are outside the safe zone. You can also get the feel of this vehicle in the training mode of PUBG Mobile. Although this ride is new for the mobile gaming community, anybody who have played the PC version of PUBG will certainly recognise what beast of a vehicle this is.

Here are the benefits of using BRDM-2 :-
  • This is an amphibious vehicle, meaning this can run on land as well as water.
  • Since this vehicle provides 100% protection against bullets and also has bulletproof tires, it can be stated as a truly bulletproof vehicle, unlike the armoured UAZ which wasn't fully bulletproof.
  • It can tank much more damage than any other vehicle.

Once you get a hold of BRDM-2, your chances of winning will improve without a doubt. After reading its benefits, you might be wondering about how OP this is. But it does have some drawbacks as well :-
  • You can't shoot while riding BRDM2. While this was the same with armoured UAZ, being unable to shoot will make you pretty vulnerable . 
  • BRDM-2 is also slower than most vehicles. All of the increase in protection leads to decrease in the speed of this vehicle.
  • While riding this vehicle, you can't drive upto the higher places due to its heavy weight and slow speed.
We also tested this under some of the different circumstances and below are the results :-
Top speed on land :- 80-85 kmph
Top speed on water :- 35-40 kmph
Bullets needed to destroy a BRDM-2 while using M416(5.56mm) :- 95
Bullets needed to destroy a BRDM-2 while using Dp-28(7.62mm) :- 80
Grenade used to destroy a BRDM-2 :- 2
